BirdLife International is a global alliance of nature conservation organizations present in more than 120 countries. SAVE Brasil represents the BirdLife International Alliance in the country and shares its priorities, policies, and conservation programs.

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is a civil society organization dedicated to nature conservation and responsible for categorizing the conservation status of species worldwide in what is known as the Red List. The IUCN has over 1,400 member organizations, and SAVE has been one of them since 2018.

The non-profit organization's mission is to conserve native birds and their habitats in the Americas. Its focus is on threats to birds in the Western Hemisphere – threats that include the overuse of pesticides, urban expansion, habitat destruction, and invasive species. SAVE Brasil is a member of the ABC's Network of Partner Nature Reserves.

SAVE is part of RMA, which works to defend, preserve, conserve, and restore the Atlantic Forest. Through the exchange of information between entities and through mobilization, political action, and mutual support among NGOs, the collective has a national agenda of interests with the government, in order to formulate proposals to improve legislation and develop mechanisms for the protection of the biome.
